happy valentine’s day to y’all :)

i spent half my very unusual v-day doing the very unusual things. i’ve spent time with someone you couldn’t see but you can embrace, lunch with my old client, created this webspace, watched cartoon, bought myself an unexpected gift… and it seriously meant something special to me.

let me introduce you my new – favourite toy.

not Peach, but put your focus on the Wacom Bamboo :) this is something i’ve been craving for ages. look at that simple black box, don’t that mysterious touch excites you too?

just in case you didn’t know what function this toy has… it’s a graphic tablet & serves like a platform to paint through your personal computer. imagine painting on canvas with a brush, or scrawling on your blank notebook with a gel pen… mine is an A6 size, and it’s black! just like my 8-year-old :)

i have budgetted some savings for either a camera, or a graphic tablet. when i began praying and deciding between the two, God answered my prayer through Pui Ching’s coursemate. the both of us got one each, and we had them at a pretty affordable price and it really came at the right time — v-day’s eve! yesterday night i was too tired after all the travelling, and only get to play with it today.

with much prayer, it’s really worth the wait.

to add a personal touch, i have been thinking about giving names to most my favourite toys. like my (future) DSLR camera, i’d name it J. but. but.. but… this tablet came so unexpectedly! and i do not have enough grace of time to think about it’s name! as i thought i’d crack my head figuring names, a simple thought flashed through.

maybe not the best name of all, but i decide to name it B. it’s homonymic to BABY, or the initial B for Bamboo.

but to me, it is the most pertinent name that came across my mind. because, at the very moment i got it, i was so filled with joy and surprise that i couldn’t stop smiling and embracing it.

the package comes with the user manual, installation CD, pen-stand, stylus and of course the tablet…
