…no more thriller/horror from anyone, for me, a million thanks to you whom take note about this announcement.
i was kinda reluctant to blog, until i watched a (free) movie premier, i guess i just gotta let it out.
in my humble opinion, here are a few no no(s) for anyone… whose (gonna be) catching a horror movie in the cinemas.
now, i must share with you this blog… before i could calm my frightened soul, and write in a sane manner.
me, being uber poor for the past week (until today), is getting plenty of blessings from God. somehow, when i decide to give all my heart doing certain things, and give/serve without any grumble, God just provide me ways. for example, free meals, and… this time ’round, a free movie pass to watch… Drag Me To Hell.
seriously, i have nothing against my dear friends whom heart horror/thrillers, and it is confirmed that i still love you for who you are. but after 2 significant encounter in the cinemas, i think… it’s REALLY time for me to draw a clear boundary with this movie genre – that is, THE HORROR.
i had a pleasant date 2 months ago. however, something is wrong, just that i am not really prepared for the agenda… Coming Soon. with my past experiences, these movies doesn’t affect me a lot. but i was so wrong, until it comes to this very creative touch, in these 2 movies. “Coming Soon” is a Thai Horror Movie, takes place in obviously… a cinema. whereas, “Drag Me To Hell” is an English movie, it talks about curses and evil forces.
it has great sound effects, handsome boyfriend, could-be-better execution, horrific, disgusting, also some heart-warming/throbbing scenes. i have no other comments about this movie, because i was so terrified by the disgusting and horrific scenes. with drinking coffee in the late afternoon, the pulpitation makes it worse. and worst of all, i went in the cinema with a medium box of chocolate milk, and it almost make me puke on David’s windbreaker.
when the introduction begins, i screamed… not only because of the unexpected scene. but also… something flew, and dropped on my body. and it was… POPCORN! some audience who has a lack of civic-mindedness, threw popcorn in the air, and it landed on me, and it horrified me, and i screamed, and… the audiences… laughed. adding to the horrific moment, my friendly friend who gave me the free pass and a gentle jacket, grabbed my arm immediately during the horrific part, it feels like being caught by ghosts… and obviously i did what i do best – i screamed at the top of my lungs.
to this bro who sat on my right, i think he was more terrified than i think i am. he basically shoved his head in and out of his sweater (the one with hoodie). and when he is frightened, it freaks me out too…
i think the guys really had fun… watching and listened to the screams from the-freaked-out-me.
but p/s: the pat on the head, is relieving.
thank you for reading, and thank you for being patient with my blog. i was emo, but i’m back, and i will blog every 2 days from now on, with, or without a sane mind, hehe…

I think it’s great to have watched this movie, because it bring back the writer. =)
女朋友: It’s too bad you wasn’t there. If not there would be more fun.
P/S: Seriously, even though it’s a horror movie, I feel suspense more than that of horror compare to all other horror movies I had watched through out my life. At least it didn’t make me feel like closing my eye like others did. For the movie, I gave a thumb up!

I heard from someone that “Coming soon” will be the last horror movie for that particular someone… Seat beside Alice as she is really good to turn horror movie into comedy movie.

女朋友 » sigh… popcorn horror.
Blog Reader » yeah, Coming Soon is more powerful. i was basically speechless right after watching it, and have to release the tension by screaming in and out after the movie.
yukitori » hehe… what a surprise to see you at McDee’s, thanks for the pat on my head.
ricky » haha… afterall it’s free, and i went there not for the show but for the company. next time if really forced to, i’ll bring Alice, or pass the curse to some innocent people outside the cinema hall… they can have my ticket.
